Play your favourite DvDs on the iPhone
At this point it's not possible to download movies directly to your Iphone or copy them to Iphone directly from DVD etc, so you will need to first transfer them onto your computer to get them ready.
Normal DVDs are not in the correct format to copy over to your iPod, so they will need to be converted to MP4 before you can make the transfer. This is best done by saving the DVDs to your hard drive in MP4 format.
In order to make the transfer from DVD to your iPhone, you'll need a computer, a connecting lead between the computer and the iPhone, and some “ripping” software to rip the movies from the DVD and save them to your hard drive. See below for a list of software to do this.
Most ripping software can convert files to MP4 at the same time as saving the files.
As soon as the files are on the computer and in the correct format, you are then ready to start copying them to your iPhone.
